Canterbury Rugby is proud to announce that Dynasty Sport has re-signed as our official apparel partner for a further three years, continuing a partnership built on shared values, pride, and a deep commitment to rugby in Canterbury.

For 13 years Dynasty Sport has been a major partner of Canterbury Rugby and has played a key role in some of the province’s most successful on-field eras. During the partnership, Canterbury teams wearing Dynasty have celebrated five NPC titles, five Farah Palmer Cup titles, and nine successful Ranfurly Shield defences.

Canterbury Rugby Chief Executive Tony Smail said the re-signing reflects the strength of the relationship and shared commitment to rugby across the region.

“Dynasty has been an incredibly important partner for Canterbury Rugby over a long period of time,” Smail said.

“They understand what rugby means to this province- from our community, clubs and schools through to our elite teams. Their support, quality, and alignment with who we are as an organisation make them a vital part of the Canterbury rugby family, and we’re thrilled to continue this partnership for the next three years.”

Dynasty Sport owner Peter Rakich said the connection with Canterbury Rugby runs far deeper than apparel.

The renewed agreement ensures Dynasty Sport will continue to supply high-performance apparel across Canterbury Rugby’s representative teams, reinforcing a partnership built on trust, shared ambition, and a long history of success.

To celebrate the partnership between Canterbury Rugby and Dynasty Sport, Dynasty have released a limited-edition Canterbury Rugby retro jersey, honouring the legacy of the game in our region. Inspired by the iconic Canterbury jersey of the late 90's-early 00's, this short-sleeve poly-cotton, with the classic stripes and shoulder pads design, reflects the pride, tradition, and passion that has shaped Canterbury Rugby for generations.
