Building memories that last: JC Construction joins the Canterbury Rugby family

We are proud to welcome JC Construction to the Canterbury Rugby family as a new Pathways Partner and the Naming Rights Partner of the new-look JC Construction Take a Kid to Footy.

For JC Construction, the partnership is about much more than rugby. It's about giving Canterbury families the opportunity to create the same lifelong memories that inspired Pagan Crane, from JC Construction, growing up.

Raised in Canterbury, Pagan spent countless weekends at Lancaster Park with her family, proudly supporting the red and black. From the excitement of Take a Kid to Footy and collecting game-day goodie bags, to catching rugby balls thrown into the crowd to be signed by players, those experiences helped shape a lifelong love of the game and the community that surrounds it.

While co-owner and husband Jason Crane only made Canterbury home around a decade ago, he's come to understand just how deeply rugby is woven into the fabric of the region through Pagan's stories and by seeing the passion of local families firsthand. Together, they're proud to help today's young supporters create memories of their own.

Thanks to JC Construction's support, Canterbury Rugby is excited to relaunch a new-look JC Construction Take a Kid to Footy, making it easier than ever for families to be part of the action. Alongside a refreshed game-day experience, the partnership also allows Canterbury Rugby to offer kids' tickets for just $5 throughout the season, helping reduce barriers for families and ensuring more young Cantabrians can experience the excitement of provincial rugby.

The new-look programme will see thousands of children and their families enjoy a day at the rugby, many for the very first time. It's about more than getting people through the gates- it's about inspiring the next generation of players and supporters while creating memories that last long after the final whistle.

The partnership also reflects the shared values that sit at the heart of both organisations. As a locally owned Canterbury business, JC Construction has built its reputation on trust, integrity, quality workmanship and strong relationships. The company has grown by putting people first and creating an environment where staff, clients and partners feel supported every step of the way lead from the front by Jason and Pagan.

Whether it's building homes, building careers, building rugby pathways or building stronger communities, both Canterbury Rugby and JC Construction believe in investing in people and creating opportunities that have a lasting impact.

We're delighted to welcome JC Construction and thank Jason, Pagan and the entire team for their commitment to helping more Canterbury families experience the magic of game day.
