Adam Whitelock

Adam was the first of the four Whitelock brothers to travel south to Canterbury from Manawatu. He moved to Christchurch in 2006 to study accountancy at the University of Canterbury. Playing for the High School Old Boys under-21s, the centre represented Canterbury under-19s before making the senior HSOB team and Canterbury Colts squad.
His mother Caroline was the daughter of All Black Nelson Dalzell, while his father Braeden played for Manawatu and the New Zealand Colts.
While an injury cut short his 2011 Crusaders campaign was and prevented him from playing for Canterbury in the 2011 ITM Cup, he was back by 2012 and has been an influential member of the last two Premiership winning Cantebury sides.
