Wyatt Crockett

Player Profile

Tall for a prop at 1.93m, Wyatt Crockett boasts considerable international experience at both age-group and senior level, having been a member of the New Zealand sides that won the Under-19 World Cup in Italy in 2002, and the Under-21 World Cup in Scotland two years later. He also featured consecutively in the Junior All Blacks teams of 2006 and 2007. Crockett appeared only eight times for Canterbury in the 2007 Air New Zealand Cup due to an arm injury. Crockett made a massive impact in Canterbury's 2008 Air New Zealand Cup winning side - his dominance was plain to see in the final victory against Wellington where the Lions scrum was put under immense pressure. He was rewarded for his consistently good form with a call-up to the All Blacks in 2009.
