A quick openside flanker, Matt Todd made his Canterbury debut last season as a substitute in the match against Waikato at AMI Stadium. Todd plays for the Christchurch club. He made his first start for Canterbury in the match against Taranaki in 2009, the second Shield challenge of the season, and played very well. Todd was in the Crusaders wider training group this year.
