The Italians are coming!

Calling all fans of Canterbury and All Blacks rugby – Saturday night at AMI Stadium is your one chance to see Test match footy in Christchurch this year when New Zealand take on Italy.

Show your support for our local lads in the squad: Brad Thorn, Wyatt Crockett, George Whitelock, Kieran Read and Isaac Ross against an Italy team which proved competitive against the Wallabies in their two recent Tests.

There is plenty of entertainment planned for the day and night of the Test at AMI Stadium, which kicks off at 7.35pm, including:

Italian Street Fiesta
4.30–7pm

Stevens Street and Lancaster Street, AMI Stadium

Come down to AMI Stadium early and experience the Italian Street Fiesta prior to the Test Match. Sample the Italian food on offer, be entertained by Italian performers and street artists and check out the Italian classic car display. Italian Street Fiesta from 4.30-7pm in Stevens and Lancaster Streets.

Pre-match Entertainment
A spectacular pre match schedule has been organised to entertain the crowd prior to kick-off. Take your seats early and witness a special show featuring, singing, dancing fireworks and a few surprises!

Bus Service for Italy vs All Blacks at AMI Stadium Saturday, 27 June
A special bus service will be operating direct between the Bus Exchange in Lichfield Street and AMI Stadium. A Red Bus will depart the Bus Exchange at 6.00, 6.30 and 7.00 pm. After the game the service will return to the city from the Red Bus Depot (Corner Fitzgerald and Moorhouse Avenue) at 9.30 pm. Fare: $2.00 (Adult/Child) per person. Metrocard cash payments will be accepted.
