South Island U18 Girls’ Tournament hits Christchurch

The South Island U18 Girls’ Tournament is coming to Ngā Puna Wai this weekend, with games taking place from Sunday through to Tuesday.

Two Canterbury teams are entered (Red and Black), alongside a Hanan Shield side (Mid Canterbury, South Canterbury and North Otago), Otago, Southland and Tasman.

The matches on the first day are the final fixtures of the round robin, with both Canterbury sides going head-to-head, and the Hanan Shield side taking on Otago.

Canterbury will also be represented by referee Joseph Donoghue, after the North Canterbury official was chosen as one of the tournament referees.
