Wing Sean Maitland was the big winner at the CRFU awards held on Saturday night.
Sean Maitland, Canterbury’s top try scorer in the recent Air New Zealand Cup with nine, won the Canterbury team’s player of the year award and the Canterbury Supporters’ Club player of the year award.
The Crusaders player of the year award went to No8 Thomas Waldrom, who turned out consistently high performances throughout the season.
The awards were held at the James Hay Theatre in the Christchurch Town Hall.
